Hot on the heels of winning the landmark trial against Samsung, Apple has requested U.S sales ban of eight Samsung smartphones, which the jury had found to infringe on Apple's patents.
These are the eight Samsung smartphones that Apple wants banned in U.S:
- Galaxy S 4G
- Galaxy S2 (AT&T)
- Galaxy S2 (Skyrocket)
- Galaxy S2 (T-Mobile)
- Galaxy S2 Epic 4G
- Galaxy S Showcase
- Droid Charge
- Galaxy Prevail
Now that Apple has proved that these smartphones infringe on its patents, Apple will have to convince the court that it will be irreparably harmed if these handsets are not banned in the U.S.
Samsung has issued the following statement:
"We will take all necessary measures to ensure the availability of our products in the U.S. market."
