To use the iPhone's clipboard feature. Find the text you want to edit in an application (such as: notepad, e-mail, etc.). Select a word by double-tapping it, expand or decrease the selection by dragging the grab points, then press cut, copy, or paste. To paste the text, hold your finger in the general area that you want put the information stored in the clipboard, then press the Paste button when it pops up.
