The Voice Control feature is limited in its abilities, such as playing music and calling people. To use this feature all you have to do is hold down the Home button for a few seconds until the Voice Control menu displays. Then speak your command, such as "play ...", or "call ...". Some of the supported command are: “call,” “dial,” “pause,” and “play” followed by your contact, song, or album name.
When you call someone using the Voice Control feature, the iPhone searches for the person you're trying to call by looking at the first and last name fields.
