Apple released the iOS 4.1 firmware update on September 8, for the iPhone (3G, 3GS, and 4), and iPod Touch (2nd generation, and later). This update includes several updated features, bug fixes (such as: iPhone 4 proximity sensor issue, and iPhone 3G performance problems), and other enhancements.
